Planning and communication are two key elements in the development of any successful website. More often than not, long text documents that attempt to describe functionality and layout of a website often don't hit the mark because at the end of the day there is no replacement for visual decision making.

The wireframing process offers:
A wireframe typically has the basic elements of a web page: header, footer, sidebar, and maybe even some generated content, which gives you and your colleagues a simple visually oriented layout that illustrates what the structure of the website will be by the end of the project.
But wait, there's more! The wireframe also serves as the foundation for any future alterations in that it helps to identify sections that may need additional planning as well as to recognize issues early in the project before more time and effort have been invested by all parties involved.
We highly endorse this approach and it won't even hurt... we promise!
Before anyone can get started with a website, the first thing that must be determined is the main purpose or goal of the site. In many cases there are multiple goals but they should be prioritized and clearly defined. Once we have a clear goal (or goals) we can get on with leading visitors to where we want them to go.

In a nut shell, the design of a user interface affects the amount of effort a visitor to your site must spend to do something. We may want them to pick up the phone and call you, fill out a contact form or purchase something. We need to make it logical and easy for the visitor to get to a section of the site, provide input to the system and to interpret the output of the system. How much effort it takes for the visitor to learn how to do this is defined by the interface and experience that the user gets from the layout, visual queues and copy of the site. Usability is the degree to which the design of a particular user interface takes into account the human psychology of the user and makes the process of using the system effective, efficient and satisfying. We might even throw in a small toy when they're done just like the dentist office... or not.
Once we have all the other pieces in place we can get down to the design of the site. We will make a clean, beautiful, usable website that will not only look good but perform. This is because of the work that we have done to this point establishing a strong foundation for the various elements that all together make up the website.
During the design process we will use your logo and other design materials to make sure that we present a cohesive look with your brand. Generally this will also determine color and type choices but if there are other ideas that you have in mind please let us know so we can provide a design that is in-line with your minds eye.
Please note: we do not have mind readers on staff so make sure that you convey all that you have been mulling over. If you need help, never fear! We have assembled a checklist of items to help get you started!
